Nestled in the piney woods of SE Texas we have a medium sized herd of purebred Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We needed livestock guardian dogs in order to safeguard our herd of prize winning goats and deciding which breed was easy. I looked for a breed that had an extensive history of performing this job that also had a fantastic temperament towards humans. I settled on the Armenian Gampr and currently have two: White Rose Solara and Tribble Hill Eli.
