Thank you for considering a assisting the AGCA!
Here are some of our goals:
  • Place appropriate young dogs on small farms across the USA, in order to establish the
    breed here in its historical capacity as a sound family and farm guardian.
  • Organize fund-raising events and dog evaluations.
  • Fund and create a mobile semen collection program in Armenia, in order to preserve and
    increase the available genetic resources. Currently, the older blood lines are in danger of
    being 'bred out' by new imported dogs of related breeds
  • Arrange for importation of selected females, and placement of them in appropriate homes
  • Maintain rescue operations, for dogs that need re-homing for any reason
  • Establish a comprehensive points system for evaluating dogs
  • Purchase high-performance software to register as many gamprs as possible, in the USA
    and elsewhere, in order to keep accurate records of inheritable characteristics and
    available potential breeding dogs, and to maintain the value of all gamprs.
  • Publish a regular e-letter in order to keep friends and participants up-to-date on current
    issues and developments.
  • Research, write and publish articles in a variety of places, such as websites, magazines,
    and contributions to books.
